Host Selection Bidding
The application for the UEFA Women’s Championship 2025 was started in August 2022. These applications were finalized in October. Many prominent countries participated in the bid. The UEFA Executive Committee has appointed the Swiss Football Federation as hosts of UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 at their meeting in April 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal.

The previous championship was scheduled to be held in 2021, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was delayed. Switzerland was the host of the 13th audition tournament in 2022.
